real chill album, maybe 1-2 joints that I skip but doesn't mean they are anything bad, picked up a hard copy recently too
the title track and "High Right Now" are some bangers 8)

Great album. Wasn't there a thread for it already?
Fav. songs are Are You Goin' My Way, Apartment 8216, I'm In The Galaxy, Tonight and We High Right Now.
Can I and By are really growin' on me as well.

yeah, Dr Dre knew Devin was dope when he heard his first album !

Devin definitely gets his props in the industry, he just gets under-appreciated by the masses
the legends like Dr. Dre, Snoop, Nas, Jay-Z, Kool G Rap, Too $hort, E-40, UGK, Tech N9ne, etc. all had to get a hook/verse from the Dude at some point in time and then in later years you've got big newer generation names like Jeezy, Gucci, Lil Jon, Wiz Khalifa, Curren$y, Big K.R.I.T., Freddie Gibbs, etc. all paying their dues and throwing him on their projects 8)
I basically tell everybody I know that fucks with Wiz, Spitta, and all the 'stoner' rap that Devin is pretty much the Godfather of it all

1st Odd Squad demo actually, before Rap-A-Lot he wanted to sign them to Death Row, than he found Snoop and was too late.
-
back to the album, it pretty much goes front to back...very cohesive, I fux wit the acoustic concept.
-
i like 2 or 3 songs ..favorite is Apartment #8216
i think Devin sound better on cold beats and with gangsta featurings (KB,scarface, DMG...)
just my thought

Odd squad was on rap-a-lot before their was a death row records
