There is a fact that wine is perfected with age and this may be the case with Michael Jackson and his word (which carries more weight than any music entertainer today) about the already known but quickly forgotten racist practice in the music industry.
Chuck D and even Prince have stated the devils of the industry, but Micheal went a step further to call out names. Yesterday he stated that he had overheard Tommy Mottola called another African American artist as a "old fat nigger." Now usually when I would hear that coming from some artists it always gets the blind eye, but when the ever passive and soft-hearted and spoken Jackson says something of this magnitude that shit shocked me. Is Mick trying to get out of his deal with Epic/Sony? Maybe .
Does he really believe that African Americans although creating the music culture of Amerikkka (from Jazz, Blues, Rock N Roll, Hip-Hop, R&B, etc.) are getting the short end of the stick? Maybe.
If more affluent Black Entertainers took a stand against the industry, change would come immediately, what do you think?
Oh, when will these teen-age musical pirates with all the false information (if aint 100% correct it aint correct at all) and chips on their shoulders realize that when you put out fake info and alleged copy-written material that is part of my collective, without my permission, I'm throwing a wrench into the operation of your website? 2. Was that tracklisting you had on that fraudalent site actual song titles or just info you got from Phokkus, who was sent that information by mistake from one of the producers and then he (Phokkus) sent it to you?
3. Didn't that website say that that ATL is SIGNED to Universal Records?
4. Did ATL send an EP or any tracks to a label to get signed? (of course not when they have had a deal for many months)
