The Ice Pirates (1984)

In the far future water is the most valuable substance. Two space pirates are captured, sold to a princess, and recruited to help her find her father who disappeared when he found information dangerous to the rulers. A real Space Opera with sword fights, explosions, fighting robots, monsters, bar fights and time warps.

My two cents: Arrrrrgh! Pirates, robots, lasers, ...um ice! What more could you want?

Metalstorm: The Destruction of Jared-Syn (1983)

Along the way, they will need to do battle against the hunter Baal and his Cyclopean minions for engaging Jared-Syn in a final encounter.

This movie has: - An Indiana Jones - A hot army robot -technician - A terminator - An R2D2 - A ninja - Cavemen - Romans - An evil professor who wants to take over the world, Very insane, yet enjoyable

When the grandson of a gun wielding woman is murdered by neo-nazi surf punks in the post-apocalyptic future, this grandma hunts them down for some bloodthirsty revenge.

My two cents: what can I say...adventure and gunfire on the waves. Best movie title ever!

Do you know a film that ends with a crawling cyborg arm? Have vague memories of an unkillable cyborg bounty hunter and the arm is the only thing left at the end!!

I think I (accidently) found it! there's definitely a crawling cyborg arm in the trailer.

That's an easy one, You mean Space Chase. A Terrible, low budget Star Wars rip-off, Dr. Chrome is like Darth vader, Ryan Chase is like Han solo

Crime Zone (1989)

Two young rebels live in a world where crime is eliminated in the postnuclear fascist world of tomorrow, until they team up as Bonnie and Clydestyle outlaws and go on a crime spree.

My two cents: A very enjoyable and overlooked futuristic sci-fi action flick,

Trancers  (1984)

Jack Deth is a kind of cop/bounty hunter in the bleak Los Angeles of the future. He's become obssessed with chasing Whistler - an evil criminal who uses powerful hypnotic powers to convert people into zombie like creatures known as trancers.

My two cents: Filled with fun practical effects, film noir overtones, and plenty of action! There is also a Trancers II (1991), Trancers III (1992), Trancers 4: Jack of Swords (1994), Trancers 5: Sudden Deth (1994) and Trancers 6 (2002).

2019 - Dopo la caduta di New York (1983)

After a nuclear war, society breaks down into two groups, the evil Euraks and the rebel Federation. A mercenary named Parsifal is hired by the Federation to infiltrate New York City, which is controlled by the Euraks, to rescue the only fertile woman left on Earth.

My two cents: Italian post-apocalyptic Sci-Fi filled with thrills, chills , noisy action and spectacular scenes

Empire of Ash (1988)

In post-nuclear "New Idaho," a lone warrior teams up with a girl to help rescue the girl's sister from a hostile warrior clan.

My two cents: post-apocalyptic drama, mutated survivors and men dressed in rags sparring off against each other.

80's HK action with a sci-fi twist

"Austin Wai plays Sum, a secret agent posing as the security chief of a remote mining colony where several employees have disappeared without a trace. At first Sum is impressed by the almost superhuman efficiency of the mine's workers, but soon becomes suspicious of the zombie-like manner in which the miners perform their duty. His worst fears are finally confirmed by the colony's resident physician (Deborah Sims), who has been forced to mix a powerful drug into the miners' meals that increases their strength while making them mental slaves of the company. Sum and the doctor prepare to expose the deadly secret, but with every other member of the colony out to get them, they may not live long enough to tell it."
