Ras Kass is one of my favourite MC's and Ice Cube used to be (fallen off, but i'll still check for his new shit). I don't think either of them are racist, just because they said that in a song. From people who know Ras they say he treats each individual as they treat him, if you show him respect and you're white he'll respect you and if you are a dick to him and you're black he won't respect you. Also Pure Black, you seem to have selective hearing as Ras Kass also has said fuck black people too.
Charlie, lost his life right in front of the party...

Paris, Dead Prez and Da Lench Mob. I like their music although I'm white.

Well it never really bothered me, being that I live where I live... But the shit Ice Cube used to say on his record ain't really no wonder to me when taken into account that blacks did go (and still do) through a lot of shit. But there's also the line from Death Certificate: "I'll be the first to say peace, white man." It's on the track Us.

People are like that. What they don't see, they don't think about. The Benzino shit was all over the hip-hop media, so it was bound to cause a fuss.

it offends me, just like racist comments toward coloured ppl wud offend them. i have many asain and black friends and they r really nice ppl i don't see why race is such an issue to some ppl. i uinderstand being angry towards those who r racists but singling out a whole race is pathetic.

also ppl should stop bringing up wat happenned hundreds of years ago cos ppl who r alive today had nuthing to do with it. our cultural attitudes have changed since then and are continuing to change we would never get anywhere if were always hung up on the past

iraq would just get annexed by iran

That would be a great solution.  If Iran and the majority of Iraqi's are pleased with it, then why shouldn't they do it?

This topic seems to spring up every couple of months (like Nino Brown's desperate attempts to dis me  ;D )

But Caucasians have to keep some things in mind. HIP-HOP is a Black/Latino cultural artform that is a rebellion against Amerikkkan society. In other words the masses/majority of oppressed people (who happen to be Black, Latino, and Native American) are speaking out against the system which happens to be runned by rich white males, POINT BLANK. The essence of Hip-Hop was/is an outlet to speak against those dominating and oppressing which happens to be the White Ruling Class world-wide. Now only those Caucasians who read history and understand the pain and suffering from slavery to colonialism will understand and sympathize with what Rappers from Paris to Dead Prez are talking about. And for fools to consider it racist show the lack of education. Black people in all of history has never committed acts of genocide on another group of people solely for the continuation of racial power. They never burned so-called Jews in the oven, enslaved millions of people of another race for over 400 years, raped and pillaged other non-black nations and used the wealth to dominate everyone else. Black people can and are prejudice and so is everyone else, but to say Da Lench Mob and everyone else listed are "racist" because they speak out and against Caucasians is just plain illiterate. If one person on this board can tell me what things are said by rappers that are "racist against white folks", I'll denounce what I just said. Mind you, what have these rappers said that has stopped the continuation of White power and rule here in Amerikkka and around the world?  Have the things that rappers said actually made you afraid of Black people?

Again this is a Black/Latino artform that is now being enjoyed and embraced by everyone regardless of color, but Caucasians can't come into the culture and try to change it, because they don't like what's being said. If you don't like what's being said, then don't listen to it. But if you understand why it's being said (and most of the time it's not for shock value), then it shouldn't really bother anyone. You don't have to agree with it, but I wonder why Caucasians on this forum or in general don't speak out against rappers using the term "nigga"? I guess since it doesn't affect you, you don't care, right?

Ponder this"

so-called racist rappers..............

1. Paris: put out by Tommy Boy, INDI Distribution, and Priority Records (all headed and owned by Caucasians)

2. Public Enemy was put out by Def Jam, but Def Jam back then was distributed by CBS (all headed and owned by Caucasians).

3. Ice Cube, Da Lench Mob, MC REN all distributed via  Priority, Epic, Relativity (all headed and owned by Caucasians).

4. Dead Prez (Loud= Caucasian male Steve Rifkind)

5. Poor Righteous Teachers distributed by Profile Records (owned and operated by Caucasians)

6. Brand Nubian was produced by Dante Ross he is a Caucasian and Elektra Records is owned Caucasian owned.

I mean I can go on and on, so the whole argument of them being racist is FRAUDALENT.

a black man calling another black man nigga doesn't offend me if it offends them yes they shud speak on it. if some thing offends me i'll speak on it like i said b4. its not rite to single out a whole race because of some of them have surpressed black ppl in the past or even the present.

the music industry is a business, in business firms r there to make profit they will invest in what will make money what is your point?

so if eminem were to make a song saying fuck black ppl etc. u wud just not listen to it? there wud be a total uproar.

racism has shifted in recent years coloured ppl get away with alot more things than white ppl do and thats the truth. if i white person where to beat up a black man for watever reason it gets labelled as a racist attack even if that wasn't the motive

i just want to reiterate i the fact i have nothing against any race i have learned from mixing with different ppl to except ppl for who they r not the colour of their skin or where they come from or what religion they follow which not everyone can do.

iraq would just get annexed by iran
