Ok, now listen, read, whatever,
I never tried to be something I ain't actually am,
Lifes been kinda tough, but aint it for every living man,
Told I can do anything if I set my mind to it,
But my eyes are blind to the world and it hard to view it,
Wanna be something succesful in the film industry,
But I'm struggling with the work load and works abusing me,
Taking advantage of my good nature adding more hours for me to slave,
But I'm trying to earn that paper, cos moneys all everybody craves,
Need it to survive to be alive in life,
Cant keep dodging my friends when they go out at nights,
I wanna be there enjoying my youth but I'm so tired and wasted,
I wish I could sleep thru days cos I seriously cant face it,
Black bags under my eyes the last time I looked,
Ain't had a day off for ages, feel physically fucked,
But, I'm just trying to pave a path for me to travel,
Cos life for me is a peice of string, dyin to be unraveled,
This is hopefully the first step of many steppin stones to the top,
If I get knocked and rocked I'll be shocked but I still won't stop,
Cos I gotta make my movies, make my films for the world,
To be enjoyed by everyone, adults, to boys and girls,
Winning festivals and oscars for my scripts and direction,
Preparing speeches to appeal to future generations,
So, I gotta keep trying, pushing myself to the limit,
Cos the world is there to be taken, and everything in it,
I will continue to work through days and nights,
Until everything in life is alright, right!
