Grand Theft Auto: Vice City has already sold 4 Million pre-Orders through August 20th. The sequel to the popular game, Grand Theft Auto III, is expected to have 10 Million pre-orders by the time the game is expected to release

Damn... this game is gonna sell... I hope and do believe it will live up to the hype. My local Funcoland has already sold out of it's GTA: VC pre-orders... which is amazing... that store alone had bought 500 pre-orders to sell... I was talking to the manager there the other day and he told me that people who didn't pre-order the game at the store will have to wait till january before the game comes back to the store... basically what he is saying is that all the shipments from October 22nd to January have been pre-ordered.... now that's a lot

Actually Javi... I don't think people are expecting perfection, but GTA:VC has everything that GTAIII had and is pushing even more... the city is twice the size as the last city which was amazingly in depth... the targeting and fighting modes have been fixed so you can actually beat the shit out of somebody w/o jamming your thumb on the cirlce button... you can snipe the tires of cars... that tight... i'm just anticipating this bitch more and more

and for the japan thing,they dont like it because it doesnt have games they like for example,boring RPGs,dating sims,walking sims,breathing sims,and maybe even sleeping sims,i dont know what those screwy ass japs play......

most of the time the only "improvements" made are graphical and they add one level or an extra character.

Play a game with freedom and you will see... gaming is unlike music... bad games dont sell well... GTAIII is by far the best game in years... yes Halo is an awesome game, but you get no freedom, have you ever played a game where you dont have to play the game... GTAIII allowed that and GTA:VC will push it farther... I know folks who bought a PS2 for GTAIII, not because they had time to beat, but because they didn't have time to beat it, but didn't need to... GTAIII is not about graphics, it's about gameplay... something Halo has, but doesn't come close to when you compare it to GTAIII...it's about freedom, no game ever has allowed so much freedom... you can do whatever you want and you dont have to beat some boss or some level to exceed something better... GTAIII gives is all to you... you just gotta find out where all the shit is... and that's dope

how can u play a game that doesnt have a story for more than 10 minutes,i was gonna buy a ps2 instead of a xbox just for gta3,i decided to go to my friends to try it out,played it for 30 minutes to a hour and hated it and i have no desire to ever play a GTA game again it was a chore to even play the game.......

YOU CONTROL THE GAME... unlike Halo, the game is given to you, YOU FOLLOW THE GAME... yes Morrowind is a great example of a game with freedom, I've played the PC version and it's a great game, but it still doesn't offer the freedom that GTAIII offers... Halo is like MGS2 for the PS2...yes , its a great game, but if you just wanna explore... you only have a confined area during the portion of the game... in GTAIII... you're always in the game... there is no need to go farther in the game unless needed...if you wanna beat the game, the missions are great...

this is my honest opinion this is how i feel so dont trip......Metal Gear is better than Halo....and i believe that....Halo is alright but i dont think that its better than Metal Gear let alone GTA3......so in my conclusion i think that GTA3 spanks Halo....i have been playing the GTA series since the original playstation i had GTA and then i got GTA London and then i had GTA2 i have always loved the game because of the gameplay not graphics but its def a bonus with better graphics thats why GTA3 is that much better......GTA is just one fun series and im sure some of you think of Halo like we think of GTA3 and thats why i would rather have a PS2 over a xbox

haha damn I never knew "The Sims" was the best selling game ever... I bought that game a long ass time ago and it was hella fun for a long while... but it eventually lost most of it's replay value
