WOW, all I gotta say is, Quik once again proves he's the only one close to dr. Dre.  This sampler is hot, hot, hot... his beats are bangin, as usual...  Pharoah Monche is SLAMMIN on that one track, too.  Glad to see him gettin' some work.  I'm also glad that dj quik didn't twist up his sound like everybody mentioned, he largely sounds like he did on his last one, so i'm happy.  "I"m a rap singa...I exercise one muscle, and that's my strap finga" LOL.  Quik rocks.  He has a really exciting voice, too, he's got one of the coolest flow voices in rap, he just sounds funny, kinda like Skee Lo, or somethin, tight stuff.  Halfway through, i'll respond again after I finish it

Ahhhh, that track at the end with the Saxaphone is bumpin', too.  That's the kind of music I wanna hear from quik, like "can't go wrong", instrumental of the year last year (for me).

I gotta say it again: That track with KK is off tha hook!! Man I keep playin' that one the most. The intro song is tight too. That one wit' Talib Kweli on it is nice. So far I'm loving everything I'm hearing. May 7th........May7th....  :-/ shit....

Hot, hot, hot shit, I cannot wait until May 7 for this album.  I hope that this album blows up and not use Dre to do so.  Like Jayo Felony would say, this sampler is "Hotter than fish grease".  From the sound of it, it sounds better than Balance and Options.  Although I still hope someday DJ Quik will do a record with Eiht and release it (I heard a rumor they did a track a couple of years ago, but it wasn't released).

On a side note, it's a great thing that music fans are posting all this exclusive shit for everyone to enjoy and not hogging the music (which they didn't record, produce, mix, have any involvement in, etc. and only enjoy because they have "contacts") like certain people who prefer sipping tea and eating crumpets and having a good wank to Shakira than sharing exclusive, untagged shit with fellow music fans.

thanks to b-please for the preview of this sampler. the second track sounds like a dre beat to me...or its just dre´s influence on quik...anyway, i´m really looking foward to quik´s new album...should be the highlight of this year...damn, quik got the flow !!
