i'm gonna have to say Snoop dogg will always remain the most poular and recognizable figure ever. Man i don't care what type of music u listen to everyone i know from punk fans to classical fans to pop fans to rap fans know and like snoop dogg. he has a distiguishin voice, flow and just the way he looks is different from every other rapper. god damn everybody and their mama's know who SNOOP is.

whether people like it or not i think its got 2 be tupac...but nowadays its snoop most definatly. snoop always has and always will be seperated from the rest just cuz his distinguished voice, flow and the way he looks like the homie said before^ ;D

Snoop - In the early 90's everyone and their momma knew who the fuck Snoop was and he is still in the spotlight now with all the albums, movies and commercials he's in so fa' sho he's probably the most recognized artist.
2Pac - So much publicity when he was alive and when he died.

devin looks alot different...look at the cover of THE DUDE...u get a good view of him...that other guy in the pic is not him...not by a long shot....if u want look at the FACEMOB cover u can see him on there too

Lets face it, when regular everyday non rap fans think of hip-hop, they think of 2Pac. He was that figure that my dad knew, and actually respected with his music. Rick D's off KIIS FM in L.A., you know that pop station, gives respect to 2Pac. The Source called him the most iconic figure in rap, which means biggest name. Snoop is cool, and right now everyone knows him, as in the past. But of all-time, 2Pac from the time he was shot 5 times, to now when his dead, is the Muhammad Ali/Hulk Hogan/Michael Jordan/ Wayne Gretzy in terms of name value in hip-hop. KRS, Rakim, Biggie, Jay-Z, Nas, they all are good, but not nearly as reconizable as 'Pac.
