i sympathize with artest man, those guys are under alot of pressure....if i had people talkin an throwing shit at me all the time, id snap too.....id pull a Tie Domi and try to knock the guy out from the penalty box.
im pickin Owens, a few months ago i was a big fan of his but when he fucked around and Philly ended up missisng the playoffs.....last fucking straw.

since were gonna talk about money..to this day i will never understand why players will holdout because they're not paying u "enough" money..65 million and 70 million are the same thing! ppl need to stop being greedy, money is money when u have that much money, it shouldnt matter. Pro atheletes are over-payed in general, u put me on the court and pay me 100,000 dollars i'd stay on the court

good example of that Paul Konerko.... stayin w. the white sox... for more reasons other than money...
he was offered 10-15 million more a year from other ball clubs but he realized that he would have a better life
jus stayin w. the club that put him on his feet.. shit.. no matter what ur ganna be rich for life.... whats a few more

dontrelle willis is in his what..3rd yr i think..he is not yet a developed veteran, i think highest payed players should be the veterans and then ur potential superstars. dont get me wrong hes a phenomenal athelete but hes got 10-12 more years to go..he doesnt need to start raising his salary, its unnecessary and selfish of players to think of support of a team over a few mil.

I know that is why a baseball player needs to spend a certain number of years before they can become FA's. They need to complete their service so they dont have to go through arbirtation with their teams. Willis has 10-12 more years to go for what? If Willis continues the way he pitches, when he becomes a FA in 2008 he's gonna demand at the very least a 5/50 type of contract. It will just be aburd not to. Guys like fucking Tomko are getting paid 6 million a year, you have to look at the situation they are in.
