signing owen was a high?
i know he's a great player.. but was he worth that much...?
it was their record signing AND he wasnt getting much play at real madrid..

i'd definately consider it a high (at the time for a newcastle fan)
he will come good as long as he stays away from injuries
he is a natural born goalscorer - there ain't too many around no more

Souness is the type of manager that will only take your club side ways.. As much as i dislike him gota admit he was real unlucky with injuries.. but oh well fuck newcastle anyway.. :)
