Dubcnn chopped it up with the Ambassador of the Bay Area, the king of slang, Mr. E-40 Belafonte, for an exclusive interview. 40 talks about the movement in the Bay Area and how it's received in other regions, setting new trends, the independent game, and about the comparisons to the South.
The time was limited but we also got the full scoop on his new album "My Ghetto Report Card" which will be in stores next month, March 14th.

There was a reason why some questions were not asked behind the scenes, s0me plans we had laid down...i'll let jay decide whether he wants it explaining in here...remember time was limited and as a result (plus with what was planned) choices had to be made for the options we we're working with.

We work closely with Siccness (As you can see, we integrate some of their products into our store), so it's all good. There was a little situation we had with Warner Bros. which changed things about the Interview. But, we can't change that now.

Rod, the interview that I had people post questions for was set up thru Dre from the Bay, but it never went down due to 40´s schedule at the time. On this one Jay only had limited time and we had a 2nd interview with 40 scheduled, which Warner Bros canceled. This is why alot of the questions the sicness people were looking for weren´t asked.
Dont trip man you should know by the way dubcnn usually does things that this wasn´t done on purpose, you should know better homie! What´s good with you anyways? Last thing I heard were those snippets..

The reason why we got to ask the questions we wanted to ask was due to Nemo actually doing work with 40 on some side dvd projects Siccness will be releasing later this year. So all we had to do was call 40 and tell him we were recording. We didnt have to schedule anything with the label Warner....
