Title: Ruds Car Change Decision: Your Input
Post by: Rud on February 05, 2006, 06:16:20 AM
wassup yall, time to change my car, currently got my Peugeot 206 LX 1.1 (99 T Reg) - its the extremly rare edition, black, slide back roof, 15" alloys, nice motor...need to step up now after 2 years and 60,000 miles ;D

so its time to step up, two cars im weighing up mainly but open to suggestions (people in the US dont say i need some big SUV or whatever...this the UK ;) need something sleek ;D

Audi A3 (want an S3 but bit high on insurance hehe) (probably 1.9TDi or 1.6 FSI S line or 2.0 FSI Manual or summit)

Honda Civic Type-R (i know new one is due but i love this shape and its hot as hell and one of the best value for the BHP it provides)

both are really good makes, honda and audi both have good reputations... the audi looks better, no doubt... i'd go the audi... have you thought about a diesel golf ? economical and they still quick... or a 330 ci ?  ;D

if it was me I'd keep the peugeot, but thats cause its one of my fav cars.. since youre changing though, I'd definetly go with the A3, imo its nicer than a honda.

fuck it, just wait for the 07 challenger, 6.1 liter hemi, RWD, i dunno bout u eurofags but in cali, we ride shit that car slide down the block.  not a fuckin honda (i have an integra for commutting purposes) and a plus point about big muscle cars is the gas mileage, i got a 1999 camaro ss 6 speed and i get 20 MPG, not bad for a car that can hit 60 in 4 sec and the 1/4 mile in 12.5 sec...

thanks for all your thoughts thus far! appreciated! ;D

inspire, dunno yet, been offered £2500 for part ex so somewhere between that and 3K...with it being the rare model with all the extras it holds its value and despite its 1.1l capacity it looks mean as fuck on the road ;D
