Ironically, Eazy's death sent his son down a path that at first appeared to be a dead end. "My father's funeral was April 7; I turned 11 on April 23. Been gangbanging ever since," says Lil' E, now 20 years old. "The hood is right around the corner. I turned to it; it made me into the Crip-est Crip I could be." While Survivor's Benefits checks from the government helped pay the bills, Lil' E's trust fund won't become available until he's 25 years old. That denial of riches, combined with the inner pain caused by the loss of his father, pushed E toward hustling and the streets. After graduating from high school, he moved to Las Vegas to seel drugs.
But while momentarily succumbing to the same temptations that his father had dabbled in, Lil' E was also haunted by Big Eazy's ghost in positive ways. He inherited his father's business sense and it called him to the rap game. Intrigued by the music biz, E formed Kings of LA Entertainment, and like his father, became the first act at his own company. The result is his debut, 'Prince of Compton', which is dropping early this year and features a voice eerily similar to his pops, a collaboration with Bone and a possible N.W.A. reunion that will see Lil' E filling in for his dad.
Lil' Eazy-E's life would look very different right now if his father were around to see him become a man. "I would probably be playing football with my dad in the stands cheering me on," imagines E. But God's plan was to make the young man walk in his father's footsteps, through the streets of the city that the world came to know because of him. Because he was taken away so early, there was obviously so much that Eazy-E had left to conquer. But his greatest gift to Hip-Hop just may be Lil' E, who was born to continue his father's quest.

eazy-e is already a fucken legend. just like too $hort, he is already solidofied his place as a person who created this west cost shit...he doesnt need his son fucken shit up. if lil Eazy isnt raw as fuck, or anything close to his father, he shouldnt even try to rap...i hope he is good.
