Title: Death Row and Geto Boys??
Post by: eazye on February 11, 2006, 03:22:38 AM
Back in 92-93 why did they give props to each other so much?:
1.Rage proping Bushwick on Chronic
2.Bushwick appearing on Chronic
3.RBX appearing on The World Is Yours
4.Big Mike giving props to Snoop on Till Death Do Us Part
Was all this something special or not?

the Rap-A-Lot group The Convicts was originally signed to Death Row (Future Shock)... maybe they established some connections trough them?

and don't forget on death do us part the first single Crooked Officer chorus was originally a song that was supposed to be on the chronic.  The source mag with dre on the cover with the gun to his head was talkin about the chronic while it was still being finished.  One of the songs was Mr. Officer and the chorus was the same as Crooked officer that came out a couple years after that

That joint venture seems to be in a little bit of a box right now, when that rumor started it was also being said that there was to be a 2Pac and Scarface collabo album called 2Face
