Drums, thats it
i use it sometimes with Cool Edit, since it has a better multi track capability.
make the drums on fruity loops, export to a .wav file, send it to cool edit, sample what u want as ur melody, then cut and paste till its right

it's pretty easy for drum-loops... i prefer Reason tho.... and Adobe Audition (Cool Edit Pro, just newer ;) )
-
u can even make pretty tight melodies using fuityloops, u just have to have a HUGE sample bank to work with
-
FL is easy as fuck...well probably because i been using it for 3 years now
but i do not use it to sample with FruityLoops, I use GoldWave Audio Editor and ReCycle 2.0 then export it to FL

People have NO idea what the program is capable of, trust me. It is very powerful. And use sound fonts instead of .wav's to sound more professional.

if u just download fruity loops..you seem limited but the broader you look at it, the more you realize you can use other programs as well as fruity loops to make beats you wouldnt imagine
