On a side note: this performance is exactly why the west is dying in sales right now. People expect new stuff to sound like the Death Row era, and if it dont they bitch all day long!!

if they make shit that sounds like deathrow era nobody outside of the westcoast will buy it. that shit was in the past. the westcoast needs new faces instead of using the same muthafuckas from 13 yrs ago.

Isn't it said that Suge wanted to sign Biggie and that's why he said if an artists wants to sign to a label where the ex. prod. isn't all in the video come to Deathrow?
-

this performance is exactly why the west is dying in sales right now. People expect new stuff to sound like the Death Row era, and if it dont they bitch all day long!!
i tell you the reason because most music coming out nowadays is nothing compared to the past and you can see on different posts in this forum that many people think the same
if they make shit that sounds like deathrow era nobody outside of the westcoast will buy it. that shit was in the past. the westcoast needs new faces instead of using the same muthafuckas from 13 yrs ago.

dope ass preformances right there the row & pac
on a side note: i never liked the idea of the source having their awards ceremony in NY because they never showed any love for any other rappers outside of NY.
and was Quik signed to death row back then??

he was an afflilaiate, I dont know the full story but they were connected
-
People in crowd seemed dead or some shit...they hardly budging...maybe because of 94 shit..hahaha...they dead or something..
-
I rented that Source DVD from Blockbuster a couple months ago, and this performance is one of the best ever. Crowd reaction is here is shit, but the Death Row set came correct. Everyone was in top form, seeing Sam Sneed doing his thing is real dope. August 1995's when this is from, someone asked earlier exactly when it took place. Looks like the show aired from the Theater in Madison Square Garden, I can tell from the arena's ceiling design. Had they performed this in L.A., I'm sure everyone would've gone crazy for them.

I think he hired Suge as his manager and Suge was trying to get him out of his record deal and sign him to Deathrow but he couldn't get him out of his contract.

If someone needs to explain to you that Nate's verse was from "Ain't No Fun" off Snoop's Doggystyle, please delete your account and never step foot in this board again. But I think you know that and are simply questioning the beat... I'll give you the benefit of the doubt. ;D
The beat is from The Gap Band's "Outstanding"... a fucking classic track in my opinion.
