Title: Running Scared = Movie of 2006 (so far)
Post by: Sikotic™ on February 25, 2006, 12:01:02 AM
Great film. It was borderline nC-17 too. Paul Walker was surprisingly decent. I won't give any details, but I'll explain it like this: it was a version of Crash involving mobsters and crooked cops mixed with a little bit of Tarantino. Great film and I recommend it to anyone.

I completely agree with Sik.  This movie was the best ive seen in a while just as good as Crash imo.  I really felt Paul Walker was great in this film he really delivered.  Everyone needs to see this, crazy movie but great. 3 and a half stars for me just missing a perfect 4  :o

I saw that shit last night, it was tight as fuck.  Definitely a good movie, worth seeing for sure, action packed the whole time.  And for that comparison up there, its probably comparable with The Matador, definitely better than Hostel, and I don't really think its fair to compare to King Kong because its just completely different.

They're critics....they don't know shit.

I GUARANTEE you, if Quentin Tarantino did the the movie, or was even associated with it, it would of got a high percentage.

Oh, and for those who have seen it, I've heard that it was suppose to be a take on Alice and Wonderland, which kind of explains the end credits.

Personally, I didn't think it was that great of a movie.  It had good moments, but way too many plot ideas that weren't fully developed and just impossible, improbable, nonsensical shit happening the whole time.
