just announced......Toronto is about to Hire Suns GM and 2005 GM Of the Year Brian Colangelo!!!!!1

This is great news for us Raptor fans!!!!!

Its great they got a respectable GM with a good history and background.  He will attract players to Toronto and Im sure do a much better job than Babcock.

Why did Phoenix let him go?

I wouldn't having him as GM here in LA.

Im not really sure what happend with him in Pheonix....Maybe he got a nice offer from Toronto and wanted the challenge of rebuilding a new team.

Good luck...I don't see ya'll makin' any real noise unless you can re-sign Bosh though (which I highly doubt).

He's been working with his dad his whole life and was intrigued by the fact he could be on his own.  I also heard since his father sold the team and it wont be family owned anymore he wanted to move on even tho his father will remain as CEO for the next few years.

This is the first positive move i've seen them make in a while. Getting a real Gm with plenty of experince. NIK, you are crazy for being so sure Bosh dosen't want to stay. I'd like him with the lakers, but I think he will stay. Go Raps. 8) I already have new faith in the raptors. :D
