I knew about him, only after working with Dre. If you have time Trauma, can you list some of his most unknown, East Coast productions. Id like to start tracking his production credits.
TeeCee,
If you know of any, it would be dope if you posted too. Maybe start an entirely new thread focusing on his production career. One of yall gotta get it started, cuz I aint be gotten no knowledge. Pz.

Scott Storch is ill, he hooked up wit Dre as a keyboard player in '98, he's been wit Dre since and has just started to produce on his own.
Techniec: Peep, "Livin The Life" off of "Violator 2" compilation.

Scott Storch produced a ton of The Roots stuff, the biggest example is "You Got Me", which won a grammy in 1999 for best rap collaboration (It beat Dr. Dre and Snoop, "Still Dre"). It was released before '2001', and even back then, he still had the signature sound before his dr. dre sessions, so it's important to see that Dre didn't teach Storch how to produce. That's a tight song, there. I love the drums at the end. It's got a really cool guitar all the way through it, too.
Storch joined the Roots back around their first album, and later on, went by the Psuedonym "Kamal" so yall mighta heard of him as that. He played keys on their live album too.

Wow, Scott is tight. I have all Roots albums too, but I never really paid attention to production credits. Thanks dogg.
