I actually remember those "Rap Packs", barely; they used to sell them near the cash registers at the Blockbuster Music Store where I went to buy my tapes.  Don't remember N.W.A. having them, but I definitely remember the MC Hammer ones because they had stills of his dance moves and shit like that.  Bubblegum trading cards were all the rage in the 80s', mostly with L.A.'s heavy metal bands.  Hip-hop was a bit late for them, I guess, but they did exist.

Wasn't it called Music Plus back then? I remember buying Low End Theory on tape and the single for MC Breed's Ain't No Future In Your Frontin' at Music Plus. Then it changed to Blockbuster Music and they let you listen to the album before buying it. That was cool.
