Title: new interview with Eastwood @ Tha Row
Post by: Quadruple OG on March 05, 2002, 06:04:34 AM
he talks about many things, including his debut album "Born to be hated" which he hopes to drop by the end of the year, recording with Pac, Crooked I's album, Kurupt, Death Row Killa EP, etc.  But the one thing I'm most excited about is the possibility of a group album with Eastwood, Crooked I, and Kurupt.  That would be hot.  This interview is a really good one, more in-depth than the first one

He's wishful thinking talking about releasing an album on Death Row.

Didnt think the "E" bit was cool, obviously he's a dumb drug addicted brother. Oh well....

I doubt Eastwood's album, The Young Assassins album, and this new group album will ever be released. Tha Row is starting to sound just like Doggystyle Records and DPG Recordz, making all these plans for albums, but 99% of them never come out. Who knows, maybe they all will get released, but don't get too hyped..

i'm pretty sure the Eastwood album will be released b/c of the exposure he's gotten on Hot 97, King Magazine, on B-Legit's compilation, and in the May 2002 issue of XXL.  I hope they're released, but all this depends on how well Crook's album sells

Death Row have always been like this. Sam Sneed had an album wrapped & ready. Nate Dogg released G Funk Vol 1 but that got pulled off shelves. The list goes on......

Crooked I & Kurupt will release something this year, Crooks album has been held back to create the perfect LP, guests etc. I heard its all ready now.......

All I want this year from Tha Row is: 2Pac's new album (this WILL be out, no doubt), Crooked I, and KURUPT..

I don't know about Eastwood.. he sounds dope and all, but the truth is none of us really know nothin' about him.

And also about Kurupt, does anyone REALLY know what the details of his contract is?? I was readin' the other day that he's only signed as Vice President of Tha Row, so he's still signed as an artist to Antra 'cause Suge couldn't completley buy him out of his contract.. anyone got the real scoop?

Sounds tight. I really want these new artists to drop. Crooked I is straight fire. Eastwood is dope. Their albums SOUND promising but I doubt the planned release dates will go through. Crooked will probably drop later this year and Eastwood sometime in 2003.
