Title: Rap Documentaries
Post by: DonCorleone187 on March 03, 2002, 08:48:45 PM
I've seen the Rhyme and Reason DVD and it was probably the best documentary i've seen for Rap music, if you don't have it i'd suggest adding it to your collection.  Is there any other good documentaries out there worth buying?

'The Show' - kind of an older era version of Rhyme & Reason, lots more live stuff.. some Dogg Pound and Warren G things for us westcoasters.

Guess you could add "Welcome To Death Row", it only really focuses on the Death Row era but it's definatly worth picking up.

The Show is incredible... I recommend the soundtrack as well...but the movie is by far the best Def Jam product I've ever bought....Rhyme and reason is well put together as well, but it pails in comparison.
