Ah you want rumors ?

Go there... http://www.thefourthperiod.com/

Apparently, not a lot of teams are willing to make trades since the offers are ridiculous... Expect Brendan Witt to be traded, I don't really expect anything big, except from maybe Ottawa or Carolina.

WOOOOOOOH!!! Montreal just saved 4 millions!!!!! And Theo was slumping, so it's good for both teams, as a Theo fan  :( I wish him the best in Colorado ( the cup ) but I hope we get a bone-a-fied GOAL SCORER with the saved money, Theo wasnt good in Montreal anymore, he needed a change of air and i'm happy he's playing for a good team but Gainey is gambling his job ... If we realise that this deal really come back to haunt us, i'm scared for his job.. If he gets some scoring POWER, then maybe... and i say MAYBE he will keep his job but the fans are gonna be MAD

Ya Lacroix is a genius but don't underestimate Gainey, i'm sure he has a big plan with that money... With Theo, all you need to do is shoot top corner and it's in lol but I hope he gets his game back!  Sure Theo >>>>>>> Abi but with the salary cap, it could be a chess-like move

We are fighting and we just traded Theo... If we wait for the Off-season , i'm officialy a Avs fan , we better get Kovalchuk lol ( I wish  :( ) or one of them gunners because without Theo, we are buttfucked.. I don't believe Abi will survive Montreal lol... here , there's a lot of pressure with the players, especially the goalies and our #2 goalie, Huet, just had the player of the week title on the NHL and is POPULAR, everybody is disgusted lol , i'm still in shock and don't know how to react

down in Vancouver we're hearing that Mtl traded Theodore away to create some space for a trade including Bertuzzi with the Canucks. Whatever!? I don't know what's going on but there is a reason Mtl traded their franchise player away, we'll just have to wait and find out.

^^that would be insane! but who would they trade him for :eh: anyway the habs still need a goalie. Huet has been playin great lately but i really dont think itll last long. anyway i hope the habs fail miserably  :D

i think it was a bad move on Colorado's part for this season

i duno about the financial aspects or contract stuff on the two

but for this season, i dont see why Avs made this move, they're styll in playoff contension; Theodore i believe was injured, im not sure if he styll is; even then, he was having a terrible season

Aeby on the other hand started off a bit streaky but has since imrpoved greatly and Colorado's play in general has improved.

Aeby should help Montreal quite a bit; as for the Avs, i guess they're really confident in Theodore or really confident in Budaj

The Maple Leafs acquired D Luke Richardson from the Blue Jackets for a 2006 5th-round pick or a 2007 4th-round pick

The Sharks acquired LW Ville Nieminen from the Rangers for a 2rd-round pick in 2006

The Islanders sent RW Mark Parrish and D Brent Sopel to the Kings for two prospects: D Denis Grebeshkov and LW Jeff Tambellini

DAMN. GREAT move for Colorado 8), BAD move for Mtl 8)

Actually horrible move for Colorado. Theodore is injuried, has had a horrible season so far, & makes far too much money. David Abischer is having a hell of a lot better season that Theodore & this move also frees up cap room for Montreal. This deal makes absolutely no sense for Colorado.

another minor trade:
The Maple Leafs trade D Ken Klee to the Devils for RW Aleksander Suglobov
