therefore someone involved with that site should really be the mod.

No, you are wrong. I was banned from this board several times, and had to register over again. I know I probably can't prove it, but I promise I've been around for a long time, at least since fall 2001.

the main forum moderators were elected by the members of the board.

The others were chosen because they initially expressed an interest in running that section, or were specifically chosen.

In either case... no one gets the job just by asking.

I never demanded anything... I respect everyone here... I just wanted to know if a minor moderator postion were available, since I've been here a long time, that's all.

Overseer I was merely illustrating that there is users around who have been around longer than KVB that have no positions. Perhaps passed over was the wrong phrase to use but I couldn't think of another to get my point across. I apologize for offending you your higness.
