Yeah, Westwood is annoying as fuck. Luckily I don't have to endure him here, just every now and then when some rapper (or so) is interviewed on Radio 1 and I want to listen to it.
They showed Pimp My Ride UK here on MTV for like a week. I watched the first episode until I saw the host - fuckin Westwood, actin all ass again.

i dont really appreciate westwood these days but dude is only where he is now cause he was in it from the beginning repping the hip hop scene in the uk from when it first started, for real. i only really became aware of that recently through speaking to heads that were part of the scene in london back in the day but it really surprised me, although the constant bashment and shit when he does a set now, thats a big thumbs down, he's just following rather than making any input on the mainstream to stay in the game

Is anyone here old enough to remember Mark Tonderai, the guy who did Radio 1's rap show before Westwood? Dude used to LOVE the West Coast. That was the first place I heard E-40 when 'Captain Save A Hoe' dropped. Great days.
