Title: History of Violence very good movie

Just wondering who has seen this movie before, I really enjoyed it one of the best of 05 imo.  I didnt think it was as good as Crash but I thought it was better than munick.  For those who have seen it what did you think??

I saw it. It was good and I really enjoyed it. It was mad overrated though. I put Crash & Munich over it anyday.

I really liked it, but I haven't figured out why William Hurt got an Oscar nomination, because his performance was easily the worst thing about the movie.  He's a good actor and all, but him playing a gangster?  Didn't work for me.  Good thing that isn't until the end of the movie; before that, "A History of Violence" is really an incredible film.  I liked "Crash" better, too, but this was easily Top 10.

I thought it was cool movie, but I really didn't see why it was on all these "Best Of" lists.  Maybe I'll watch it  again and see if I can see anything spectacular about it.  It was better than Munich though, that movie dragged on way too much.
