If u wanna do sum shopping Metrotown or Robson street are good, umm eating theres lots of restaurants on robson or around there (downtown vancouver) cactus club is pretty good, how old r u,r u legal age to drink?
-
yeah for shopping hit up robson in downtown or metro. to eat in downtown theres a lot of restaurants from all u can eat japanese to great pacific northwest food. try kingston taphouse and grill in downtown. for used cd's in downtown go to charlie's on granville. their selecition has gone down lately and they have raised their prices but u might find some good cd's there or u can just hit up the huge HMV on robson if ur not into buying used cd's.
-
basically anywhere downtown.. theers so much shit to do.
-
come to surrey, ill show you around, you will proablly pass by if you take the truck crossing
come to whalley smoke some chronic and git wasted

Robson street is the main shopping area. There's also Pacific Center Mall, it's mostly underground so thats cool I guess. Granville street (which intersects robson) has some good stores on it. Granville has a lot of bums on it during the day tho.
Check out DIPT on Hornby (just off Robson) www.getdipt.com
Check out Soul 2 Soul on Granville
English bay/Denman street has a lot of little places to eat (fatburger), it's right by the water.
Davie Street is our 'gay' district. You'll be able to tell from the Pink Bus stops & Garbage cans.
Gastown is really geared towards tourists, there's a lot of touristy type stores, but its a cool neighborhood to see, the streets are all brick
Checkout livestock on Abbot street www.deadstock.ca
Yaletown is where all the Yuppies are. But its also a cool neighborhood, most of the buildings used to be industrial, and have been turned into lofts/storefronts
Earls is a pretty good place for lunch, there's one on Robson and on at the Paramount Building on Burrard.
Basically just drive around downtown, theres tons of little neighborhoods and stuff. If it's raining tho, I suggest driving to Burnaby & Going to Metropolis. It's BC's biggest mall (470 stores) & Check out EastSide Urban Wear www.eastsideurbanwear.com

Theres a safe injection site in downtown too ;D

Go to Main & Hastings.
I take hastings into Vancouver at least once a week. The Downtown Eastside is the most ghetto place I've ever seen. I saw a crackhead ride a bike into the side of a moving car once on Hastings, then he got up and started throwing shit at the car lol.

we were everywhere.. we parked in Surrey and took the sky train to downtown Vancouver and on the way stopped at that Metro mall.. when we got downtown we walked around Grainville n shit and went to that underground mall.. when we got back to the car we then got lost and finally found downtown Vancouver then went to Amsterdam Cafe then drove down Hastings and wow never seen so many crackheads in Alleys n shit pretty funny.. that was about it.. alot differant from Seattle, up there u got alot of Middle Easterns and the only blacks we seen were jamacians at the mall.. also alot of Chinesse Japenesse.. we got looked at weird by every1 though (our group was white, black, cambodian, & african)

good stuff. yeah vancouvers pretty diverse but we do lack some africans or african americans for that matter. so u went to downtown by skytrain and then got back to ur car and went downtown again. damn yall mustve loved downtown. do u find it that much different from seattle? i actually think that seattle has a lot in commmon wit vancouver when compared to tother u.s. cities. damn i wanna go to seattle. i wanna hit up them premium outlets.
-
yeah there's barely any black people here. My cousins boyfriend just moved here from LA and that was the first thing he noticed. Lots of Asians and East Indians tho. It's funny cuz even in Bellingham there's a lot of black people, it's like once you hit the border they all dissapear lol.
Glad to hear you got to see our crackheads too lol.

Well, Burnaby (Where Metrotown is) is full of Asians, you wont go anywhere without seeing them. Surrey (WHere i live), probably the half where i live is full of east-indians. Downton is more diverse.
Usually if you have a big group and are walkin in Metrotown...either the nammers or flips will want to start shit with ya, you dont really want to go in a big group in metrotown lol
-
^^^lol at them fake asian gangters wit puffy north face jackets and tight kappa pants.
