Old ass news from the beginning of the year.....
School’s in session and the notorious west coast rapper, Ice-T, is the teacher in charge. The ultimate in culture clash takes place as Ice-T goes inside the hallowed halls of a New York City private prep school and is challenged with taking a class of adolescent students and turning them into a big time Rap group.
The original gangsta, who is also a Hollywood star, will spend nine weeks breaking the students out of their comfort zone to get schooled on all aspects of Hip-Hop. There will be field trips to historical hip-hop locations, like the South Bronx in New York City, where Rap began. They will also be getting lessons in breakdancing, DJing, and MCing from some of the Rap world’s biggest stars. Will Ice be able to overcome angry parents, uptight faculty and the spoiled preppy kids themselves to make them into a group that can open in New York City for a major Rap act?
Gene Simmons sucess with the TV show 'Rock School' inspired the idea to start a rap based version of the same show. The show 'Rap School' is planning on making its way on to network television later in the year. Heading towards Fallish.
