I think myself and E-Crazy are the only Angels fans on this board so I'll go ahead and set it off.
Right now, we're getting our asses handed to us by the Seattle Mariners, 5-0 at the bottom of the 3rd. Missed opening night, I was at work and am at work currently.

Well, this section was doing fine before the trend...But I don't mind having those "official" threads if ya'll like it, we always have the option of starting a new thread if we don't...It would be hard to open a thread for EVERY game, so I can see where it comes in handy.

Because we are repped by the Dodgers, not Angels. Angels are from Anaheim and their name should rep Anaheim not LA.

cus that shit aint right they're not from LA county they're from Orange County therefore have no business calling them self the LA Angeles. Its like one day the Dodger decide to call them selfs the Anaheim Dodger of Los Angeles thats fuckin stupid.

Nah man...Angels is Orange County's team. No one in LA gave 2 shits about the Angels until 2002. Before then we were treated like the Clippers. I don't like the name for that reason. I feel the name change kinda disrespects the local Orange County fanbase.
Personally I don't really care about smacking the face of the Dodgers...I'm indifferent to them. Our rivalries are with teams like the A's, Mariners, Yankees, etc.

The name change will give the Angels more revenue and more fans. L.A is still big enough for both teams, there's still enough left for even a third baseball team
