If you've ever heard him or Roscoe freestyle, its not hard to tell when hes doing it.

i don't think he freestyles it, i think he writes it in one pass.
if it were a freestyle he'd have to lay his vocals in one take; or the song would change everytime they redid it. i don't think he takes any significant amount of time writing his rhymes, so it comes off as a freestyle. he might just memorize the verse in his head. but it's not straight off the top.
