There were 3 other people performing as well , Savage from "moonshine" wit akon (Akon wasnt there) he did some freestlyes and moonshine at the end (solo) , and "Phrase" , some Australian rapper who isnt that good hes aiight , but everyone wanted 2 see snoop , and the 3rd person was a new york dj , forgot his name though...

yeh, i was there, with about 20 people at the concert on saturday in sydney too.
one of my friends video recorded the concert on his camera, but the picture is shit coz it was dark inside, plus they have lights on the stage to purposely stop people from recording the show, so a huge white glare covers the stage on the camera, but atleast you can see the two television screens they had on the side of the stage, so hopefully when i put it on the computer, i'll be able to see the footage thru the television screens on the video. the only thing is i dont have the wire to connect the phone to my computer to transfer it to my computer, so i'll get one of my friends to do it. but anyways, yeh about the concert, it was ok. it wasnt that good, he didnt play enough old stuff, and it was too short, and the crowd there were crap. i mean the concert was filled to capacity, but the people there just standed around, and most of the old songs that were performed they didnt even know, so they just stood there like idiots, which is pathetic. it looked real bad, and snoop was trying hard to hype the crowd up but couldnt do it. i bet they are making fun of sydney coz of how shit the crowd is. the only stuff the crowd knew was his new stuff like drop it like its hot or beautiful, and they also knew the dre and snoop song "next episide" from dre's chronic 2001 album, coz they play that song all the time in the night clubs. ::)
the people that were with snoop were:
uncle june bugg (dancing all over the stage)
uncle reo (sung a song or two with snoop)
dj jam (was one of the 2 dj's)
battlecat (was one of the 2 dj's)
soopafly (was on the stage with snoop the whole time being a hype man)
lady of rage (rapped a couple solo tracks)
snoopadelics (snoop's band)

Lol @ people only knowing Snoop's more recent stuff, when his older material is better. Anyway, that sucks...when he came to Belgium the majority of the crowd (I'd say 80%) knew all his stuff, so that was cool. And I could tell that Snoop loved it too, he didn't have a hard time hyping up the crowd.
But yeah, I guess you'll always have those mainstream teeny boppers who go to concerts and only know the biggest hits. I've never understood that. Why go to a concert then at all? If you only know his hits, then stay at home and listen to the singles instead of ruining the atmosphere at a concert. At least that's my opinion...

I agree with LAzoo , the people around me knew the old shit , but most other people didnt kno any of the stuff from doggystyle ,
and when Rage came on no-one knew who she was either.

when rage came on, the whole crowd was just still as can be like as if they were watching an opera or sumthin. its on the point of being even disrespectful. i mean , what the hell do they come to this concert if they dont even know snoops material, and dont know of his protege's like rage who have been around since the begining of death row,....

exactly, and you know what pisses me off even more,.... how many of these stupd ass teenie boppers, and dumb bimbo sluts who only have heard of "drop it like its hot" , and the song with timberlake, manage to get front stage/dancefloor tickets, when i couldnt even manage to get my hands on these tickets. the dance floor tickets sold out in the first 5 minutes they went on sale......

i went to the show also. It was exactly what i expected. To much commercial garbage and not enough of the old stuff.
However i did have a different opinion of the crowd. Keep in mind I had dancefloor tickets but where i was most of the crowd was hyped when snoop was doing his old stuff then completly dead when he did his commercial bullshit.
Mabye it was just the section i was in.
I agree no one knew who the fuck lady of rage was which was very embarising.....
Overall it was a good show. And yes snoop was blunting... so was most of the crowd. And if they wern't they were passivley!

Snoop's performing in NZ tomorrow night. I missed his first concert here, but I'm going this time! Can't wait.

I went to the Brisbane concert.
And i thought gosh we have alot of wiggas in Brisbane.
Big Snoop came out so late. He was meant to come on at 9 and he came at like 10.30. I was like oh my god i have to go to work tomorrow. For a Tuesday night concert, that was rather late.
I thought it was rather funny cause you can tell who is a older fan Vs a newer fan.
Eg. during Beautiful certian people stood up, while the old fans sat down and were like whatever.
The highlight for me was tha shiznet. In the car on the way up my friend said do you think he will perform that and iwas like highly unlikely. But then when he did, I jumped up and down like yay!!

hey fellas, i also went to the brisbane concert i liked it but man it was a long wait and he was taking breaks every 2-3 songs. also he smoked alot of blunts but not sure if it was real although alot of ppl were smokin weed around me lol
anyway since no one has any pics i thought ill give u a taste
