Title: Anybody see Hogan Knows Best this week?
Post by: Trauma-san on April 10, 2006, 05:14:28 PM
It was pretty good.  The whole show was about Nick wanting to be a wrestler in his dad's footsteps.

They showed Hogan @ Raw, and Nick was hanging around backstage before the show, he got in trouble clowning around with the Big Show, and he took him in the ring to show him how to bump and things.  It was really pretty cool, because Chavo Guerrero told Hogan his son was in the ring, so there's this cool footage of Hulk walking down to the ring in an emtpy arena and watching his son bump with Paul Wight and John Cena in the ring behind a steel cage.  Hogan gets in the ring and tells them to raise the cage (which they do) and they all mess around a little bit.

Then the rest of the show, shows Hogan and Brian Knobbs and some guys showing Nick how to work the crowd and things.

There was also a cool scene with Vince McMahon asking Nick when he was going to run away from home and join the WWE.  LOL.

I saw the episode at the gym today. It was really good, my favorite Hogan Knows Best so far. His son is lucky, Vince always likes to employ second and third generation stars.

Brian Knobbs is crazy lol. I actually saw the guy in person once and he's a huge man.

^ You'd probably go to death.  Have you seen Hogan's guns lately?  MAYBE NOT 24" pythons anymore, but at least 22" pythons.

Two episodes ago, Brooke was out on the beach in a bikini sunbathing, and all these guys were standing around talking... here comes Hogan out of the ocean like some kind of fuckin' aquaman or something, and goes walking up to the guys.  So on one side, you've got all these skinny 18 year olds fully dressed, and on the other side you've got Hulk Hogan in just swimming trunks and he's bigger than 3 of the other guys.  So after about 20 seconds, they were all gone.  LOL.

but his son is not in wrestling shape. His more like David Flair, too soft and pink for the ring shape. Nick Hogan vs. David Flair, World Title, WrestleMania 30, BROTHA

If HHH's kid turns out to be a boy, he's got no choice but to be a wrestler.

He's got three things going for him, though.  1, he's only 15.  So while he's not huge right now or in great shape, he is in fit shape and has time to work out and get into good looking shape for a wrestler.  2., his dad is Hulk Hogan, a very large man and a lot of muscle mass is linked to your genetics, biceps for instance have bands in them, and if you're born with a small amount of bicep 'bands' or whatever, your arms can only get so big.  Hulk has huge arms, so his kid likely has the ability to be large as well.  3., again, his father is Hulk Hogan, who has less of a party boy lifestyle than Ric Flair did.  David Flair grew up without his dad, and when he did see his dad, he was a party animal... so David grew up to be an overweight drunk.  Nick probably won't do that, because Hulk's on his ass constantly.  So I'd say that Nick Hogan has much more potential than David Flair, although David Flair was probably potentially more of a gifted athelete than Nick since Ric is a much better athlete than Hulk.
