though i enjoyed Godfather III it wasn't up there with the previous two films. This question comes from a disagreement between my older brother and I, but first off i think both movies are fuckin awesome without a doubt in my book both could be consider top 10 movies of all time, yes i said it. First i tried to compare the performances by Marlon Brando (Godfather I) vs. Al Pacino (Godfather II) nd i believe Al did a fuckin amazing job nd Marlon as well so i came into a dead road...lol so i don't know what do you guys say?

Both are undeniable classics. I prefer Part I over II. Both had great acting but the storyline was a bit more clearer in Part I and I found it a little more interesting. Part II is still the shit though 8) Part III isn't as bad as people make it out to be, it just isn't anywhere near the level of the first 2.

thank you, i discovered this bitch before anybody knew who she was on Surviving Ted Nguyen. >:( hahaha. My good friend took a picture with her at an import show, she (my friend) also loves Tila Nguyen, so my friend gave me the copy of that picture so that'll do for now until i see her in person.

The way that the 2 stories in Godfather II are done in the one film are outstanding and ahead of its time IMO

i like pt 1 better overall, but my favorite scenes are the Deniro Parts in part I, but my favorite ending is in pt III

Ive only seen the first and I thought it was great. However for my Birthday I just got the second and third Godfather movies on dvd and Im pretty stoked to watch them both

These two movies are pretty unique, it's hard for me to view them as two seperate films because once you've seen them, you're thinking about the second movie the whole time you watch the first and thinking about the first the whole time you watch the second... it's really just half of a really long movie to me, I can't really say one's better than the other, Pacino and Brando were two incredible actors, and the two parts were very different, so it's hard to compare the two. I cannot pick a better, although you may be able to give a slight edge to the first, since it WAS first, and since Brando is no longer with us. Based solely on quality though I can't pick one over the other.
The third wasn't half as good as either of the others, imho.
