Dre donated a million to the tragedy. That's better than participating in a HORRENDOUS interpretation of a Classic Marvin Gaye song. FUCK JD for that >:(!

that shit was just a commercial flip flop...i mean, they putted on some famous ppl and mix a little rock with some hip hop and make a pop song, so the record will sell much u know..
-
if those artists weren't gonna make money out of the record then they wouldn't have done it neither...look at it like this...dre donated a million...and a few artists who usually sing about hurting people donate their sorry vocals and just remind the families of the tragedy every time it gets airplay...i mean come on...now u saying west coast artist DRE is ignorant? he lost money tryna help and nelly eve etc. gained money...
dre did the fuck bin laden but never released it...so now who ya think is ignarent?

Snoop donated 2 dollars for reach concert ticket sold at the Puff Puff Pass Tour, and he had a moment of silence for the people in New York and the families... Nate Dogg made a song called "Yesterday I Cried" about the tragedy...

LMAO! thats dope
All those artists were looking for exposure and a moment in the spotlight as usual if you ask me. "Hey lets get a bunch of people together, make a average song and capitalize off a national tragedy."
They're just taking advantage of the situation like lots of others were.

No, not really.
I dont even think any of the artists on that song really got paid much. That song wasn't/isn't really about the tragedy, I think they recorded it even before 11/11. That song was supposed to be about AIDS, and some kind of charity thing to help raise money for AIDS victims in Africa.

Yeah, I think the song was finished before it even happened but then after it happened they decided to add a bit more, like Fred Dursts verse and split it as an AIDS/september 11 tradegy charity song.
