Andre was off the chain on this album....
"The worlds a stage and everybody's got to play their part
God works in mysterious ways so when he starts
Speaking his words we be so sincere with this here,
No drugs or alcohol so we can get the signal clear as day,
Put my glock away I got a stronger weapon that never
runs out of ammunition so I'm ready for war--- Okay"
^^^ That rhyme is one of the best quotables... 96 is still my favorite year in music history. Andre 3000 was into Islam at this stage in his carear, in his video for ATLiens he was travelling to Egypt and wearing Turbans. Classic material.

He said he wore the turban to cover his dreads. So I guess he was half rasta / half muslim ::)

btw Infinite, I'm surprised you never mention A Tribe Called Quest. They make countless references to Muhammed / Allah / Islam. They even have a guy in the group name Ali Shaheed Muhammed! And Phife's real name is Malik!
*waits for Infinite to annoint ATCQ as the greatest group ever based on their religious affiliation alone*

andre 3000 was never into islam in this album, i dont remember hearing any references to it on the album
although it has been a while since i listened to it
aquemini just edges it against this album, but one thing outkast have had in their career is consistency

Great album, I still listen to it on occasion. My favorite song is "Growing Old". That song is so deep.

they got that film thing going on
they just arent doing what they used to do

Dude the soundtrack to the Movie which is called Idlewild is gonna be their last project together. Big Boi said it himself so shut the fuck up.
