Dogg Pound Gangsta, Kurupt aka Young Gotti, is back with his group, and also completed a solo independent underground album produced by Daz Dillinger. That highly anticipated album will be released June 20, 2006, and just 7 days later, the group album “Cali Iz Active” on Snoop Dogg’s label will drop. Wanting to forget about Death Row and make a positive comeback, he has many things to present to his nationwide and international fans, including another role on the big screen later this year. He and the rest of Tha Pound will be opening for Ice Cube’s national tour beginning today in Anaheim, CA, and ending June 3rd. Kurupt’s old school and newly generated fans will see this year that this universal emcee isn’t going anywhere. West Coast gangsta rap is coming back strong for the summer of 2006.

i hope so.

I think a real Gangsta has to really prepare for a strong comeback and I got faith in my manz that he and DPGC is doing it big this year, I know they will, they got my support, East Coast niggaz think they got the whole country sewed up, well, Tha Dogg Pound is back and I hope they blow the East off the map, who you know kept it gangsta for so long? Very few, I give em much respect for that. Those 2 weren't meant to be solo, they had to comeback, I'm looking forward to seeing them in Detroit next month on the 9th!

East Coast fell off. It's the south now, unfortunately
-
Well, the good thing to me is Daz is working with the South and if you want to believe the west fell off, that's on you, I don't knock that, but I beg to differ, I think they are all coming up, and isn't that up to the fans where the West Coast is? They got my support! No fans, no fame. I'm definitely holding it down for them, that was an amazing review of the concert E posted, did you see that?

Personally, to me, No one is falling off, it looks like this is the year of the comeup! I see all sides doing it, I just got to give my support to the West, check out what they doin! That's the hype shit that I like, 14 years and niggaz still got it, that's a prime example of Keepin it Gangsta!

I agree ladygc, have you heard some of the joints they have recorded? Check them out on www.d-p-g-c.com.
Daz has a joint with Rick Ross and Kurupt has got another hot track. Both their albums are coming soon and I cant wait for them to drop.
