Post by: Black_Smoke on April 28, 2006, 05:43:53 PM: April 27, 2006 - Snoop Dogg and members of his traveling entourage were arrested in London Wednesday night, April 26th.

The iconic rapper and several members of his crew were at London's Heathrow Airport awaiting a British Airways departure for South Africa where they were scheduled to perform some live concerts.

A scuffle allegedly broke out when the entire group was denied entry into the first class lounge. Further disturbances were reported at the terminal's duty-free shop.

London police were brought to the scene where they informed Snoop and his group that they would be unable to board their plane to Johannesburg. At this juncture members of Snoop's crew were reported to have become abusive and physically interacted with the officers, resulting in minor injuries to at least seven policemen.

Subsequently, Snoop Dogg and five of his friends were arrested on charges of "violent disorder and affray."

As of today, Snoop Dogg is out on bail with no charges having been filed against the rapper. That said, he will apparently have to return to London to clear up the matter at a later date.

To add insult to injury, British Airways has reportedly issued official letters to the entire Snoop Dogg party stating that they are now banned from all future travel on the airline
