Lloyd Banks Long Awaited Sopmore Release Finally Gets A Release Date With New Name
Today On G-Unit Radio Lloyd Banks Reveled The New Name For His New Album Now Called Rotten Apple. He Also Reveled Some Of The Producers On His Album Timbaland, Havoc Of Mobb Deep Just To Name A Few The Album Will Be Realesed June 27th With The First Single To Be Realesed Next Week Produced By Timbaland.

What about his verse on "I know you don't love me"? They were pretty tight.
I may or may not actually get his album. People seem to think he's falling off with the rest of G-Unit, but that remains to be seen.

Never really felt Banks all that much. I'm mostly looking forward to M.O.P's G-Unit debut and Young Buck's new album as well (if it's actually coming out this year, which I doubt).

i have a hard time seeing this release dropping 06, and if they do drop Banks and Buck albums before Spider,M.O.P. and Olivia(lol) & 40 Glocc we´ll never see their albums released on G-Unit Records.

true that, but G-Unit done had 2 years to promote Spider and they´ve done a shitty job combined with him bein wack. i guess that´s not a good recipe for success.

Have 50 and Iovine even offered 40 Glocc a deal? I know Mobb Deep have him recording his debut for their Infamous Records label, but that doesn't mean he's automatically gonna get G-Unit/Interscope backing and distribution. Chances are, Mobb Deep's gonna put out his album on Koch or something.

I'm pretty sure I'm not gonna buy it - def one that i'd have to preview before droppin $$ on it. Banks is kinda vanilla to me - he can come with a good metaphor or punchline but that doesn't usually attribute much replay value on that alone. I did like him on that solo on Alchemists album, and I thought So Fly was dope (mostly cuz of Timbs dope beat).

Anyone remember the website called rottenapple.com or something? www.50-cent.com used to rediret to it as well, it used to say it was the official G Unit site and sold the mixtapes back in 04, thats where i got mine.

You sure bout that? I'm not saying you're wrong, just that I haven't been under the impression 50 has approached him about signing officially at all. I just thought he was an affiliate.

yall are bein a little too critcal with banks..its just hes not an album rapper..He's great on a 16, but he's not album material. He cant manage 17 songs, he's just a filler verse type of guy, which he needs to stay as.
