Title: Need a laugh? Zelda on the Phillips CD-i.

If youīre at least a little interested in video games and the Zelda series then please check this out... You wonīt regret it.

You might have heard stories about the Zelda games on the CD-i and how much they sucked but if you have never seen any footage of it then prepare for the worst and minutes of laughter.. rofl...

It's basically a format of entertainment some brands tried in the mid 90's or early 90's... kind of like a suped up cd-rom.  You could play audio cd-i's and there'd be an image on the screen that you could manipulate (like a menu), or there were games like this one.

The shitty thing though, is that at the time Phillips (I THINK it was phillips) was working on something for Nintendo, and the contract they signed with Nintendo to make this game, gave them in a round about way, the opportunity to use any of Nintendo's franchise characters to make games.  So this game wasn't officially approved by Nintendo, it was just something that this company made through a loophole in their licensing contract.  Actually pretty smart move on their behalf.

They made 2 (maybe 3) Zelda games, most horrible crap ever.
