"The Roots & Jaguar Wright Get Down With Coca-Cola"

With the buzz getting larger around vocalist Jaguar Wright and her crew, The Roots, it was inevitable that they would soon be tapped to contribute to some advertising. Coca-Cola recruited Jag and The Roots to be a part of their new campaign and filmed two 30-second spots, which began airing on February 4.

"These commercials have an organic yet modern feel to them, encompassed by a cross-cultural, ethnic crowd that clearly appreciates real artists and real musicians" said Caralene Robinson, senior Coca-Cola classic brand manager, Coca-Cola North America in a statement. "Realness is exactly why Coca-Cola, Jaguar Wright and The Roots make perfect sense together."
