1st Half:

Is Hiphop’s biggest starmaker finally turning the potential of the Flipmode-General into dead Presidents (?? dno what that means)? Or has there been another collision of two Egos that are too big for eachother, just as in the Rakim story? You have to look for the answer somewhere else. As a matter of fact, Dre and Bussa Bus have combined the standarts of nowadays with the principals of the Golden Age to create the ultimative Busta-album. Straight bangers and real Trueschool-manifests meet wild Fungle Junk (?? maybe Jungle Funk??) and perverted novelty-burner; typical tracks by Mr. Rhymes. Almost 200 songs were recorded for the “Big Bang” – here you got a first impression of the final tracklist, which will also feature additional joints by Pharell and Sha Money XL.

“Get you some” (feat. Q-Tip & Marsha of Floetry) – Dr. Dre
Booom. Snares like karate chops and a deadly bassline added to a thorougly evil apparatus(?) from the kind that is called “Scott Storch has to do alot of excercising to do something like that”. A predestinated opener because of the mighty concept of the new Busta Rhymes- selfconfidence. Who could stop him in this form?

"Touch it" – Swizz Beatz

Busta’s bloodcurdling roar on a highspeed track by Swizz Beatz: All of the Indie-losers who are always complaining about the “lacking innovation” of the major league, should now close their eyes affectedly for a second. And still: Tradition.

“Beats, kick, Rap – that’s it....despite of the young Lady from the Daft Punk album [note by the author: Swizz Beatz has sampled “Technologic” of the 2005 album “Human after all” for the chorus]. That’s the essence of Hiphop. In addition to that we felt the need to do some kind of “Feel-good-song”. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not that I don’t like tough-talking-songs. It’s the direct opposite. But some kind of balance is important.”

On the corresponding official remix , Busta did not only convince Mary J. Blige to rap, he also presents the newest Flipmode member, the Protégé of his close friend Kay Slay: Papoose.

“I’ll Hurt You” feat. Eminem – Scott Storch

This is the internet-leak from summer 2005 with the verse of the nearly retired Mr. Mathers. Those who get “hurt” the most are the legions of average rappers that are mercylessly remembered of their lack of talent. A banger.

“I love my bitch” feat. Kelis & Will.i.am – Will.i.am

A classic party-burner. typically Busta. But he’s rapping like Kanye (!) over a beat from Will.i.am (!!). Typically Busta?

“Imagine” feat. Dr. Dre & Chauncey Black – Dr. Dre & Denaun Porter
The former Blackstreet-Crooner Chauncey Black is, just as Papoose, a new member of the fam. On this track he is rapping with Busta and Dre about the dark visions of a world without HipHop. “Without HipHop noone of us would be in the position he is right now. We have to be grateful.”

“They out to get me” feat. Denaun Porter – Denaun Porter

A song about false friends and the dark power of money with D12’s singing soundwizard on the hook.

“Money like back in the days” feat Raekwon – Eric Sermon
A song that reaches the intensity of “only built 4 Cuban Linx” all by itself.

„This is how you do it over here“ feat. Missy Elliot – Dr. Dre

Another Violator major-collabo. In the internet it is already treated as the next single, but it seems that Interscope favourizes “I love my bitch”. It is without any doubt a club banger, that can’t be described in an other way than “hypnotic”. “Pop your collars like this, bottles up like this, Side to side like this, Holla if you like this” We holler!

“Where’s your money” feat. Ol’ Dirty Bastard – Dr. Dre

Bus-a-Bus. ODB. Dre. Nuff said.

“Don’t get carried away” feat. Nas – Dr. Dre

Heavily orientated on the G-Unit sound, but a little bit more dramatic
-“E.L.E” meets “Outta Control”.

“In the Ghetto” feat Rick James – Green Lantern

Dj Green Lantern prooves that he is rightly called “the Evil Genius” with this agonizingly slow banger that realizes the pain of the hood plastically. To this, Busta gives hope to all the people that stood behind him while Corporate America was still working on the picture of the dreadlocked Doubletimejoker: “If you’re surviving in the ghetto, you can make it anywhere”. Word up!

“Get down” – Timbaland

Dayum (?). For all those who thought that “Woo-Hah” was far off(?? maybe a german idiom for “great”??), here is the official indoctrination in courtesty of Mr. Smith & Mr. Mosley. Pure junglefever with a strong Brasil-touch and a further manifesto for Timbo’s new direction.

“Don’t try to fight it” feat. Mariah Carey – Rick Rock

Rick Rock keeps Hyphy for a moment in the Bay and delivers the bizarre dreamteam a senseful sequel to their joint superhit.

“Your time has come” – Dr. Dre

Dre creates a true monster-beat with the sound of a heartbeat and a banging shovel of a gravedigger. Busta constructs a story of a fatal day on which Busta is buried alive in the end. Horrorcore with professional instruments.

“You can’t hold the torch” feat. Q-Tip – J Dilla

A nice lament on the incompetence of the nowaday-generation to deliver classic albums meets the original Post-native-tongue/pre-soulquarians-vibe of the typical Ummah-cast. Pure magic.

“New York shit” feat. Swizz Beatz – DJ Scratch

A striking strings-arrangement collides with the pathos of “Welcome to New York City” and the block-party-vibe of the late seventies. Bus-a-Bus delivers to that shouts out to all the local stars from Grandwizard Theodore to the Ruff Ryders. Houston, you’ve got a problem. New York is back!

HMV has a tracklist, looks like they just copy/past the songs from this list.
