I can't stand to hear this dude wasted on these bullshit ass beats...He needs to get together with Dre or even some of the lesser producers on the West Coast...I have a feeling his album is gonna be full of those So Damn Hood beats...

As I had a re-listen to Snoop Dogg's "Da game is to be sold.." yesterday (in respect to Big Bpg), I noticed something strange.
In one of the track-credits, it said: "Additional vocals by Crooked Eye"
Is this the same dude, cause I'll be damned if I heard of him back then? Crooked Eye / Crooked I ....it's pretty close to me dawg.

ya deathrow never had solid/consistant production after Dre left them when you listen to to chronic 2000, dogg pound 2002, UTEOT, too gangsta for radio, the production is almost like passing kidney stones

The new Death Row production team is ASS! Crooked I is not going to be able to show his full potential because of the beats.

i mean, so damn hood had some crappy production and all. but i think crooked i should stay wit tha row. cause he's a real west coast artist, and tha row is currently the realest west coast label out. the production could get better though.

Damn right thats him. First time I heard of him was on Ride soundtrack in 1997 where he performed on Snoop song Feels So Good along with Techneic and Lil Style. So its no surprise to hear him on a 1998 record.

i totally agree with u .. i brought up a post like this b4..sayin dat crooked I wont sell a lot..coz of his shit production team..
look at KNOC..he's gonna blow up..but poor crooked I..an awesome lyricist..but cant sell due to da poor beatz..newazy we neva know..maybe da deathrow producers can pull sumthin off???!!!

Yeah Crooked XL...err i mean Chino I....nah err Crooked I, will never truely shine unless he gets some real dope production behind him, and at the moment Tha Row hasnt really got what he needs in that department, but you never know Tha Row might pull their finger out and hire some dope producers...

i know who your're talkin bout. and it aint the same one. he is from the group steady mobbin, and is outta oakland,ca. he originally had the crooked eye name first. i also was listenin and i think i heard billy bavgate from steady mobbin diss crooked i and tha row.

I think what it's really going to come down to is "Tha Row" ... I really don't think fans of rap wanna hear them anymore... why? Because seriously... there is no hype over Crooked I... we hype it up, because we love the West, but the average fans would be like "who's crooked I?" ... forget the beats, I think it comes down to Tha Row... and they know... to get back up... this album has to be one major entertainer

I think the beats will be decent on his album. The Row's at least competant on beats, their beats don't suck (I thought too gangsta had some tight beats on it). As long as the beats aren't horrible, he'll shine.
It'll be interesting to see how Suge hypes this album. He did well when he did his east coast publicity stuff last month with Kurupt; lot of people were talkin about it. If he can bring the same hype to Crooked I's album (He did, you have to admit, in the old deathrow days get plenty of publicity for snoop/dre/etc.).

Suge is second to none when it comes too free publicity, he'll just go stir up some drama, and have Crooked I's name in everyones mouth.

i think u are all right in a sense....but whether his beats are shitty or not i still think his music is dope...but i don't think it would make him sell any better with more decent beets unless he had them done by a big prducer...like for instance dre...but one thing would be for sure...if he started to chat shit about crooked I then it would be proof that he only disses ppl cuz they leave tha row.....
and it beats me about the crooked eye shit....was he around back then??
