Title: IPod Album Artwork Question
Post by: Eddie G. on May 07, 2006, 10:12:49 PM: I have the 5th generation iPod video, and I'm getting shit battery life out of it. I was wondering if anyone knows if having the album artwork for each album that I play on the ipod would drain the battery more significantly. Thanks for any help.

Post by: rik on May 07, 2006, 10:15:47 PM: Don't know if having pics drains it faster but I do know that the battery on the video ipod sucks. I have one and that shit runs out hella quik I know a couple people that also have one and they say that the battery runs out fast for them too.

Post by: T-Dogg on May 10, 2006, 11:35:49 AM: I don't have an IPod myself, but I'd imagine that refreshing the display does affect battery life quite a bit... Don't know for sure though. I'd just imagine, since in PC's the display is usually the most or second most power consuming part (only high-end gaming video cards hog more power, the last I checked.)
