I got it from here

http://www.bloomberg.com/apps/news?pid=10000086&sid=aa5NbjRNoSvs&refer=latin_america

quoted from that site

May 15 (Bloomberg) -- Edmilson, the Barcelona midfielder who played his first game for Brazil in 14 months in December, was one of 23 players named to represent Brazil in next month's soccer World Cup.

The list u put up was only 22 players they must have missed Emerson out.

i think they should´ve left Roberto Carlos and Cafu outta the squad coz their both waaaaay past their prime and i´m sure Brazil got some better alternatives.

cicinho could replace cafu.

could always play ricardinho or even robinho out on the left.

they shouldn´t have been included in the squad period IMO.

Replace Cafu, maybe but not Roberto Carlos...He's still one of the fastest, strongest, expericend and most athletic player on the team

but he´s not half as good(and i mean that literally)as he was 6 years ago. his free kicks are extremely sup-bar, most of the times he doesn´t make it back to his half of the pitch to do any defending etc etc.
