i find that Roscoe's older CD was much better but this CD still bangs what do you all think?
-
I gotta go with I Luv Cali.. Philaphornia close behind though.

Yeah I like Philaphornia more. I could listen to that cd from start to finish, there's a couple or a few tracks I don't like on this new album.
-
I think I Luv Cali edges Philafornia out but just barely. The only track I don't like on I Luv Cali is Gangsta Gangsta Riderz. But Philafornia has Smooth Sailin' which is one of the best summer tracks of all time.
I also noticed that there is only one producer for the whole album. That's rare nowadayz.
-
I've only listened to "I Luv Cali" one time through and I wasn't feelin' it at all. "Gangsta Gangsta Riders" was probably my favorite track.
-
No way, I Luv Cali is way better. Not as commercial as Philafornia was. Both are dope though.
-
both albums tight but i prefer Philafornia!!

^I 100% agree...I just got my copy of "I Luv Cali" & I'm lovin' it better than Philaphornia, but both are off tha hook...8)
-
all the tracks on i luv cali sound the same to me
i'll give it a few more listens
i have to go with philafornia for now
-
only listened to the new record 1 time thru, and on first spin i gotta say i prefer YRP. But like ppl sayin itz too early to say- I Luv Cali will probably grow on me a lot more
-
:'( i havnt listen to i luv cali
-
I like both albums alot, but I Luv Cali got too much love songs I think, which I dont like that much. but it also got bangers: summertime again, chain bang, thats whassup, get my grind on, look how we do it, money over matter, you dont know me, get high like an eagle, I feel like are the best songs.
hard 2 decide, I go for a tie ;D
-
I Luv Cali may be more consistent, but didn't have the classic tracks like Smooth Sailin', Head To Toe or Get Flipped.
But it's a really good album, guaranteed to get alot of spins trough the summer 8)

Nothin' can touch Smooth Sailn' and Head To Toe.
-
I want that Philafornia!
-
i dont like his new album at all...i only liked about 2 songs outta the whole album...he needs to get better production...first album was way better.

true true. the closest is summertime again

Philaphornia is better, I loved that album. I Luv Cali is solid though.
-
I gotta hear I LUV CALI a few more times before i decide this, Philaphornia might be tough to beat though.
-
they are both dope, I can't really decide which one I like more, I luv Cali is tight though, I just can't seem to stop listenin to it.
Listen to Look How We Do It [Album Version (Explicit)] by Roscoe : http://www.napster.com/player/tracks/16771541

philafornia!!!
Look how we do it!! yeah, dude! thanks for the link!
-
i like Philafornia better than I Luv Cali. I Luv Cali is a solid album and has a nice westcoast feel to it while Philaphornia's beats had more variety to them. i wish the beats were better on I Luv Cali but i guess thats what you get when you have only one producer...why didnt Scoe do a record produced solely by JWells? that would've been dope
Chain Bang, ou Dont Know Me, Summertime Again, & Easy Come Easy Go are my favorite tracks...

Been bumpin I luv Cali .. It's right there wit his debut. Fingazz always come hard, so no surprise.
