we might see a few i think...nas's n jayz's latest upped the bar of standards in a major way i think this is gonna bring out the best in alot a people...muthafucka snoop is due for a classic, he need to get his bite back cuz when he made doggystyle aint no one was fuckin wit his shit and now dudes sayin he fell off and he aint commin back...detox could def. go classic and eminem seems to be on another level w/ his new album...

Personally, I thought the bar was lowered... when you consider those classics... the bar is lowered... ja rule might have a chance...
I totally didn't feel blueprint... loved stillmatic, but the beats were outshine by the lyrics... a classic is beats/lyrics all 5... not in either

i agree w/ what u sayin Bpg, but u know that those "5 mics" are gonna be compared to alotta albums now...like if snoop get 4 1/2 on his next, majority of people wont think its up to par...im just sayin the more classics get handed out, the more u need a classic to succeed thats what i mean by those albums uppin the bar

cee-lo green and his perfect imperfections .
the album is filled with jazz, soul, funk, r&b , little rock , hiphop. str8 fire!
any song on that album could be a hit single.

Man I couldn't agree more. I saw the vid for Closet Freak yesterday and man, words can't describe the video. The only ones I can come up with are funky and original. Those same words describe the song. I can't wait for his album to drop.

Blueprint is a legitimate 5 mic album. Nas getting 5 mics is just the Source trying to add fuel to the fire so to speak.

neither of them are 5 mics albums, i perfer stillmatic an when it first dropped i said it was a classic but it isnt know i still bomp a lot. Tha blueprint is not a 5 mic album, thats like sayin tha last meal is a 5 mic album

i gotta disagree there... in my opinon Nas's album is on a totally different level then Blueprint. don't get me wrong im no hater on Jigga but comparing these albums, lyrically it goes to Nas... and for the beats it's close but would probabley go either way
Peace

damn....i hope you kidden dawg...tha blueprint waz far superior to "stillmatic"....both lyricly and production-wize....but hell...it ain"t my first day on this board...i know who iz massivly dickrided and who iz hated...and just to add...everyone iz entitled for their own opnionz....so it ain"t nothin personal...just how i feel.

lmao...:)...when you saying that "stillmatic" waz lyriclly better you mean it had some topicz that steriotipicly remind of what early hiphop pioneerz did...i"m talkin bout trying to spitt a massage or somethin like dat...yea?...well sorry to dissapoint you...but many half ass rappaz in tha game iz usin" what you subliminally meant, as an excuse to be considered rapperz....when they actually don"t diserve it...and from soemone who started hiz career wit "illmatic" that even wit it"z deep xploring of street life simbolz, waz strongly consentrating on tha MCing itself and on tha structured topic (no shootin in all directionz), i waz expectin" much mo from NASir.......
p.s still consider stillmatic a big improvement from hiz revious 3 garbage attemptz...but he can do much better imo.
