nice to know you have all this money to spend

Serious question: how do you find time to listen to it all? With that much to plough through, can you play any album more than once to appreciate it, or is it a case of just smashing through them all?
I ask because I always try to 'live' with a record to get the most out... play it to and from work and at home for a few days, especially before deciding which tracks to keep on my mp3 player... but at the same time that means I've still got CDs I bought in the states last September that I literally haven't popped in the deck yet. How do you get 'round to it?

word, when do u get the time to listen to all these discs? i buy a lot of dvds that people recomend but i havent got round to watching them yet, i got a few still in the wrappers since october time :-\

hard earned...and youd be surprised how much all that cost...not as much as it may seem at face value!

few points in reply to this :)
Each example of what i pick up is different but in this case (vinyl excluded as that is just as a collector - i listen when i have time to spin) - but for cds, this lot could be catergorised as
NEW & NOT HEARD > mr shadow / murs / living legends / bosko / planet asia ep / rogue souljah / mc eiht / dj babu / king lou cd/dvd / dj muggs
ALREADY HAD & HEARD OR REPLACEMENT COPIES > pomona pimpin!! / young maylay / e40 / mc eiht / xl middleton / living legends / mnmsta / livio / e40 / stykiztik jones / young dre / blunts lla / fredwreck / j steez / marc spitz / rakim / jadakiss / mc eiht / tupac / balance / lifestyle / xl middleton / outkast / jayz / roscoe / e40 / allfrumthai / e40 / raekwon / bone / dj muggs / caz / shaq
so the ratio of new stuff to listen to is small in comparison ;D
Regards to listening, I do alot of driving, lots of work at the PC (for dubcnn and other work), ipod at the gym and running and so mixed up i get a lot of time to listen to cds and music in general...most of my collection has had many spins, some more than others obviously, some i like more, others are there so the collection is complete so to speak ;D

Walk the Line?

I def have that problem of buying too many cds at a time and not getting a chance to appreciate them.

Maaaaaaaaaan...you should consult your GP or something. That shit ain't normal anymore! Are you sure that buying CD's is not a way for you to cope with the daily pressure/stress? Lol.
Btw, where did you get that Maylay from? HHW.com?
Are those two XL Middleton copies albums or mixtapes? I have to admit I've been sleeping a bit on this dude. I only got a few tracks of his here & there...but I'm considering to buy his albums. I just don't know what exactly his album is called and what his mixtape is. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

haha, yea it might be that, plus i love a bargain!
Yup from HHW! the xl middletons are both in album format, proper case/inlay, spines etc with original songs :) check www.crowncityentertainment.com for his back catalogue, we did an update recently with audio from his new work!
