Terrace Martin
(http://www.jodyjazz.com/images/photo.gallery/terrace.martin.th.jpg)
Songwriter/Producer/Musician (Saxaphone/Keyboards/Drums)
Terrace Martin was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. Seeing as how his parents are both jazz musicians it comes as no surprise that his early influences were Herbie Hancock, Stevie Wonder, John Coltrane and Parliament. Through the years he has taken the music around him and blended it into jazz harmonies with hard-hitting drums. Terrace has worked most recently with Lalah Hathaway, Snoop Dogg and Battlecat. Currently he's working on his own album, Eastsidaz and several other Darkhorse Records artists.

I really like it
For some reason, its beat reminds me of the 'Drop it like it's hot'-beat and especially Snoop's 'Get Rich or Die Tryin'. If these are the types of beat we'll get on 'The Blue Carpet Treatment', I will surely like it.
