Title: Sheva to Chelsea
Post by: Antonio_ on May 26, 2006, 03:07:42 PM
He officially demanded for a trade to Chelsea this afternoon.
Milan will negotiate with Abramovic.
Congrats to Chelsea, he's really the best striker in the world imo.

Oh, i didn't want to say i'm happy about them spending billions. I was saying they chosed a real fucking great striker.
You can have tons of money and waste them, you know what i mean?
They got tons of money and THIS TIME they've really spent them well.

Yep definetely.....Will be surprised if they dont win the CL this year. But oh well, maybe signing 2 HUGE playrs will cause some unrest in the locker room.....So Antonio can Juventus go out and buy players at the moment or do they need 2 wait till all this shit is cleared up?....Or is it all cleared up, ive lost track......

Yes, we can go out and buy whoever we want: we have no financial problems, and there are just investigations against us. Anyway if you go to www.juventus.com (there's an english version too) you'll see how we've acquired Cristiano Zanetti (from Inter) as a free agent and Marco Marchionni (from Parma), another free agent. Two great acquisitions, if you ask me. Subs players, but very good ones. Till now we've acquired the best players around.

P.S. Word is that Luca Toni is very very close to Inter. And Adriano is officially on sale (Real? Barca?)

Another blow to Serie A, losing arguably the best striker in the world.
I wonder if Milan will ask for Hernan as part of the deal?

You just can't lose players of Sheva's stature, Milan are in a bit of trouble now, losing Sheva, and they certainly need to strengthen that shaky defence too.

Not to mention they're in troubles with the investigations, cause there are compromising phone convos where they "talk" with refs..

I read about that, I just hope the clubs get dealt with and this doesnt get blown over with the World Cup.

Seems like Salomon Kalou also came to terms with Chelsea. It'll be a matter of negotiations between Feyenoord and Chelsea.

I know...it's voetbalzone but i think its pretty accurate.

He did some good stuff on the dutch fields, pacey and a good dribble. He needs to grow mentally and teamplaywise though, not sure if Chelsea will be the right club to realize this growth.

Good buy for Chelsea.  I think Crespo will be part of the Seva deal.

Good deal for both clubs, though IMO Chelsea got the better deal, Sheva has been the premier striker in the world for a few seasons now

Chelsea sign the best striker on the world for £31 million

Milan get £31 million for a 29 year old (turns 30 end of September) which they will no doubt use to buy another top stiker - RVN/Zlatan/David Suazo have all been linked - will be younger and no doubt cheaper

Interesting to see what Milan do with the money and who they do indeed go for

Yep there sure are, now I know you might not think so or believe me but heres some names:

Henry, Zlatan, Eto'o, Adriano, Ruud Van Nistelroy, Ronaldo, Shevchenko, David Villa, Crespo just to name a few

I know that he's a Celtic legend and all but he's not and never has been the greatest striker in the world ;)

He's left Celtic and Barcelona and he's finally going home to Helinsborgs can we get over it ;D :P lol

I seen first hand how good he is and yes he was one of the best players to have played in Scotland - but he wasn't the best ;) (which i'm sure that you will disagree with)

Larsson is a great striker but definetly not the best.

funnily enough while you mention Samuel Eto'o

"Why should I fear Henry? I have in my team the greatest striker of the last decade. His name is Henrik Larsson and he's the only player who I fear." : Samuel Eto'o

and Thierry Henry

"People always talk about Ronaldinho, and everything but I didn't see him today - I saw Henrik Larsson.  ...he changed the game, that is what killed the game - sometimes you talk about Ronaldinho and Eto'o and people like that, you need to talk about the proper footballer who made the difference and that was Henrik Larsson tonight because I didn't see no Ronaldinho or no Eto'o... : Thierry Henry
