Title: quick question about downloads..

is it possible to check whats in a file, half way through the download ? its a zipped file i'm downloading..

Well, actually you should be able to look at it.. happens to me sometimes when I download a file and for whatever reason the file is not complete... then I can still open it...

Or when I, for example, want to listen to a song from an album thatīs only 50% downloaded then I pause the download, copy the file, and open the copy and just extract the file... works sometimes... but atleast you should be able to open the file and look whatīs inside... I wouldnīt do it while downloading though...

Actually I think it depends how the file is downloaded.. if you download it using the inet explorer then there might be not a way to open it... i think thatīs cause the file doenst really "exist" on the hdd until its finished... but if you use programs lika a bittorrent client then my above post applies... at least I think that it does...  ::)

if your downloading a zip file through http it just isnt gonna happen
