Title: quick question about downloads..

is it possible to check whats in a file, half way through the download ? its a zipped file i'm downloading..

Well, actually you should be able to look at it.. happens to me sometimes when I download a file and for whatever reason the file is not complete... then I can still open it...

Or when I, for example, want to listen to a song from an album that´s only 50% downloaded then I pause the download, copy the file, and open the copy and just extract the file... works sometimes... but atleast you should be able to open the file and look what´s inside... I wouldn´t do it while downloading though...

Actually I think it depends how the file is downloaded.. if you download it using the inet explorer then there might be not a way to open it... i think that´s cause the file doenst really "exist" on the hdd until its finished... but if you use programs lika a bittorrent client then my above post applies... at least I think that it does...  ::)

if your downloading a zip file through http it just isnt gonna happen
